the white christmas
now all the fun holidays are over...and i have the guilt of actually excercising and not eating dessert with every meal. Life is tough NOW! :( Now my life only consists of working out, school, friends, and counting down the days till graduation !! (yea babyyy). Its weird to think that im in my last semester of my last year in high school...perplexing where these years go! I mean i feel like a grandma! No kidding, i have a school reunion some time this year. Its for my elementary school in louisiana. Thats so weird, i feel too young to be having a reunion.
over the break i was with my parents..THE WHOLE time, in the middle of NOWHERE. yeah, sounds like a blast i know. But thats really the only time i get to spend time with them now, so i really did enjoy it. For two days before christmas it snowed like 10 inches, and i was SOO happy. I saw sleet when i was like 5, so this was really cool for me. I built a little retarded snow man.. its really not as easy as it looks! Every time you make snow into a ball it like crumbles. And one time i got it all made, and put a carrot in it, and it all fell down!! But i finally got the hang of it and it was a really cute 1 foot snow man. :)
We went up to my Grandma and Grandaddys house for christmas and caught up with family. Which means talked for hours to elderly people about the high lights of their weeks, which mean going to doctors appts., to water aerobics, and getting their hair done. It actually wasnt THAT bad..i mean that part was, but when i was with my cousins and people less than 60 years old it was def. more entertaining.
After a few days we went back to Lubbock and shopped some, saw a few movies, and did about everything you could do there. I was excited that i got my camera. I put a digital camera on my list, but i didnt really want it that bad and i didnt think my parents would get it for me either. But now that i got it im really happy. I have a printer that hooks up to it and it prints it off directly from the camera. So all in all, my christmas was good.
And to top it off, my bestest friend surprised me at the airport!!
My freakin flight was delayed of course, so i had to stay in houston till 6 (supposed to leave at 3) but they did give me $12 vouchers to get food while i had to stay at the 'port. So that was nice. ANyways, i stepped off the plane and i saw Julie and Gma McCrady :) I was soo happy! They made my night.
Wahooo 2005 is just started, cant wait!!
