I know I already did a blog today..but I am on a roll and figured I might as well share another funny story. (This is like a record for me, being this good about making blogs!)

So I am taking English from blinn, and anyone he has taken classes from there knows the super freaks that go there, to put it nice ly! lol, there are some interesting people! The course itself isn’t bad, but lately we had quite a few papers due back to back. And so on this particular Wednesday, we had a paper due, and when we turn it in (or the minority of people who show up and do assignments turn it in), he says “oh by the way the term paper isn’t due today, I was nice and pushed it back until after thanksgiving.” Ummm after I heard that I was a little leary about what was going on! I was on top of most things in that class, but I never even thought about the term paper being due, since it IS indeed a term paper, I assumed it would be due closer to the end of the semester. Apparently he thought he was being nice by NOT assigning 2 papers on one day. Yes, that was SO generous of you Mr. Snow but I just assumed there would never be two papers due at once!

So anyways, I was thinking how I was going to even get ANYTHING done over thanksgiving..I knew I was going to be gone the whole time and never by a computer. This isn’t just an essay you can throw together at last minute. Like he wanted 10 “scholarly” sources, whatever that means, and 2000+ words. So I pleaded with him “Mr Snow, I really appreciate you moving the deadline back, but for some people who don’t have acess to a computer, it doesn’t help very much” I tried to say it as nice as I could…cause I always hate when people make up excuses. But I was pretty desperate and figured I might as well try. And he was like “well then you can just hand it in this week!” He was kidding, but not saying this to him, I was like I have a LOT of other things to turn in this week………..

**SOHERE’s the zinger of the story:

In the most obnoxious, condescending voice imagineable, a girl from the back of the class goes “Well WELCOME to COLLEGGGGE!!!”
-I could NOT believe some one was actually saying what I heard.
-This girl doesn’t say two words to me all semester and then today of all days she pipes up from the back and says “welcome to college” in the whiniest voice ever..
-I was like “Excuse me? Who’s side are you on?”
-What I really wanted to say was “sweetie, this isn’t COLLEGE this is blinn..and you might what to keep your insignificant biased opinion to yourself because I’m pretty sure everyone else in the class would love an extension.”

But Mr. Snow DID let us just turn in a rough draft the next Monday and I was so happy!! We were lucky little mrs. Welcome to college didn’t ruin it for people.
So that Monday I was looking forward to seeing that girl’s (I still don’t know her name) 10 page term paper completely finished since she apparently didn’t need the deadline and didn’t want others to have one. She shows up to class bragging that her boyfriends mom did the whole thing, yet, oh no, she only had 6 pages!!
I was soo tempted to be like “aww do you need that extension now sweetie?!” haha I refrained but she does continue to shoot evil glares my way from time to time.
People like that you just have to laugh with/at because it’s too dumb to take seriously!!
