I just realized some pet peeves of mine, that have resurfaced only till recently!! One of them happened this past weekend.. Zach Schae. came in from Galveston..and we go out to Cotton Patch to get some good country cookin! We are seated and our waitress seemed nice at first..but she was a lil pushy to get our order! We ignored that, but then when I told her I knew what I wanted she goes "ok baby..what do YOU want" uggh I absolutely HATE when some one your OWN age calls you baby sweetie, hunny , etc! If a girl says it, it's condescending. Like "oh hey sweetie, since i'm better than you, Im gonna call you sweetie and make you feel like youre 2." If a guy said that I'd be weirded out. If an OLD man called me that I would be majorly creeped out. The ONLY and i reapeat only people who can call me that is my mom, and really cute old ladies. So as the night progressed, she kept saying it!! I asked her if we could have honey for our bread..and of course she goes sure thing baby! ughh I know it sounds picky to have that many specifications of who can and can't call you pet names, but it makes sense. Oh yeah, if youre new to my family and I just met you, don't call me baby either. haha.
New story..tonight me and Ariel went to the Rec.. we got in a good work out and after we sat in her car for a while. We were talking when all of a sudden this honda pulls into the spot to the right of us. The girl opens her door right into ariel's montero sport..I kind of give the girl a look just to let her know I saw her and she made this weird noise and left!! So we ignored it, go back to our converstation. Then on the left of us this car full of people get out and not one but 2 doors from that car hit her OTHERside!! Ariel opened her door this time and said you might wanna be careful when you open your door! And they just walk off. We were soooo peeved! 3 hits in one night WHILE we were in the car! So we write a lil note expressing our dilema w/ rude, careless people! On each car that hit us we wrote this:
To: the person that hit our car
All people make mistakes, but mature people take responsiblity for it! (and don't just walk off)
You might want to be more careful next time you park like a centimeter away from another car and open your door like no one is remotely near you. If you do hit some one, you might want to act like you care. If this happened while we were in the car, I dont want to know what would have happened if we weren't. Take responsibilty like a big person when you cause damage to some one's property.
--Person whose car you hit
I think that extremely fair!! There was no damage, but seriously they acted like nothing happened even though when they hit, they looked up like oh yeah, i just did that. People are so selfish right now its so aggirvating!!
Ok so this blog is kinda a downer, but those are just coincidences that have happened lately, my next one will be a little happier!!
